Walmart - Director - Product Management

Our Company

eCommerce is fueling the growth of Walmart and our goal is to create a premiere Product Management organization who will lead this company into the future. To that end, the Customer Experience team at Walmart Labs is looking for a Group/Principal Product Manager to partner with Retail's senior management to create vertical specialist experiences for Entertainment, Enthusiast & Professional and Everyday Living business units. This role will establish roadmaps for some of the fastest growing parts of the business, and so will enjoy the full support of senior leadership. A successful candidate requires deep knowledge of the product management process, has previous experience crafting end-to-end experiences for the customer journey, and clearly demonstrates a strong passion for helping both Walmart and the customer succeed.

What you'll do : 

- Work with the Vertical Product Leads to establish a product roadmap for various vertical initiatives and lead a team to execute against the roadmap

- Partner with the Retail GMs to develop and champion a product strategy to support annual business goals

- Be a driving force with UX and Engineering for scalable, well-crafted, end-to-end customer experiences.

- Qualitatively and quantitively validate your proposals, measure and optimize the performance of what you ship.

- Execute with precision and speed whilst delivering a best-in-class customer experience

Minimum Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field and 6 years of experience in product management, business consulting, or related field OR 10 years of experience in product management, business consulting, or related field

- Proven track record designing and delivering customer experiences that create customer and business value, working collaboratively with design and engineering

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience developing product and business strategy with business, marketing and creative stakeholders

- Experience in eCommerce and Retail sectors

- Experience with people management

- MBA or other advanced degree
