They are looking for a Lead - Talent &amp; Culture, who will be leading the organization through rapid growth and be the key partner in driving the associated Talent &amp; Culture Agenda. Team Overview : Walking tree is catapulting into new heights and is now working in India, China and UK markets. The senior leadership team comprises of 7- 10 people globally. The HR team comprises of 3-5 members. This role will liaison and negotiate with the senior leadership team across to implement HR systems, policies and structures. This role will lead the HR function in the organisation. Key responsibilities: 1. Culture that demonstrates Core Values in action - Reinforce Walking trees core values and culture - Build a deep sense of commitment to their work, to mastery in individual roles, and to team and organisational goals 2. Leadership and Talent Strategy: - Enabling company growth through establishing a roadmap for greater retention and strategic hires - Lead organisation wide talent related initiatives. Eg. campus program, PMS, employee engagement, talent retention and development, etc - Act as a thought partner to the Directors and the HR departments across the Group - Understand our hiring needs, and build a strong value proposition for people considering joining - Identify and drive short term and long-term talent priorities - Work closely with leadership in reviewing and implementing relevant changes to existing culture and values framework. 3. Performance &amp; Accountability: - Formalizing positions and developing a clear company structure - Operationalize KPI setting process across layers - Creating accountability through targets and clear measurement - Creating and building scalable processes and documenting them 4. Engagement &amp; Communication: - Investing in current employees: ensuring team members feel heard, valued and appreciated - Developing a feedback loop with management; bringing cohesion across offices - Building right content and communication strategy for people related initiatives - Work through various organization and talent related issues. - Create avenues for employee development &amp; growth. Desired Candidate Profile Must haves: - 8-12 years of experience leading people related initiatives and employee engagement - Strong communication, interpersonal skills, teamwork and leadership skills - High energy levels and abilities to connect with a very wide range of people from across cultures and levels. - Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously with tight time frames Preferred: - Experience working in a startup or a small organization - HR background is preferred but not a requirement as long as you bring people management expertise Values and Mindsets: - Deep empathy and belief in people and relationships - A roll up your sleeves and get it done leadership style and marked by a high level of energy and attention to detail - Strong focus on innovation and deep alignment to Walking Trees growth and mission - Comfortable operating in a matrix and constantly changing environment
