Responsibilities: - Closely monitor trends and developments in major industries of interest to the Advantage Program. This includes manufacturing, automotive, hospitality, retail and other services - Conduct primary and secondary research using external resources, web-based and printed publications, and other available sources of information. - Develop quantitative and qualitative market analyses, focusing on market drivers and restraints, market and technology trends, market growth metrics and competitive dynamics. - Draws powerful conclusions and provides growth strategy recommendations to clients based on available research and market expertise and presents research findings - Acquire relevant benchmarking data to support financial, market and strategic analysis for industry segments - Work with other members of the Advantage team to incorporate the data and benchmarks into the consulting methods and tools - Develop relationships with content providers - Work collaboratively with the team and the stakeholders involved Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Graduate/Post Graduate preferable with background in Business research - Around 5 years of experience in working in a research or knowledge management centre focused on supporting businesses in multiple industries - Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task - Strong writing skills - Experienced in use of search engines, databases and other research tools - Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys, primary interviews, etc.) - Strong analytical and critical thinking Soft Skills: - Strong analytical skills - Integrated Business Perspective - Business Acumen - Communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form - Exceptional Communication and interpersonal skills - Cross Cultural Competence
