Role context :
- Business Development Manager have the industry knowledge, experience and connections; these are often the most important factors in the startup teams- long-term successes.
- Mentors are usually experienced entrepreneurs who link start-ups to the ecosystem through their knowledge and familiarity with the different aspect of growing a business
- Donning the hat of a Consultant, the mentor's task is to intensify processes and to shake entrepreneurs 'comfort zone' "to put a mirror that reflects what could go wrong.

Strategic Guidance :
- Mentors : Establish an average of 20 mentors (including vertical and horizontal experts) per city for a total of 300 mentors across 10 cities.
- Customers/Service Providers : Also, build 10-20 customer (prospects for startups/SME) and 10-15 service provider networks per city, in each of the 20 cities.
- Global Entrepreneur Networking Platform as a mobile app. that enables connects, work-flow, user rating, among entrepreneurs and mentors, investor, customers, service providers. In your pocket social media access to learning videos, webinars, events, etc. (see included vision document).
- Accelerators : Demonstrate successful model for accelerators for venture creation, startup hyper-growth and SME growth in multiple cities and build a replicable/franchising model for Accelerators and through Govt. partnerships/franchising create 3-5 accelerators in each of the 10 cities for each of the three stages of entrepreneurs defined above.
- Mentors' tasks are associated with accelerating entrepreneurs learning processes, professional and personal identity growth as well as expanding entrepreneurs- access to social networks
- Providing strategic guidance, such as identifying and correcting gaps in companies- business knowledge and understanding
- Manage Cohorts assigned not only to them but their partners as well.
- Identify the kind of Mentor + Consultant network WF could initiate and develop to aid in the process of building an eco-system in the regions identified.
Requirements :
- 12 - 15 years of work experience as a former serial entrepreneur, or who have made one or more successful exits and who currently are active as VCs or angel investors
- Mentors with the experience that are relevant to startups with deep connections to ecosystems
- Business Consulting and Strategy experience with SME's
- Track record of winning new clients, no of clients and $ value, sourcing of SME cohorts or any other Organization where there is an evidence of networking and external relationship building skills
- Lead generation experience, networking, relationship building, sourcing of cohorts/ branding, professional digital marketing and other media related network and experience
- Track record of repeated business from the same client served
- Strong Operational Background
