Wadhwani Foundation - Content & Instructional Design Expert - Venture Fasttrack

Overview of Responsibilities & Objectives:

Venture Fasttrack is looking for a content designer who can create engaging learning content, toolkits and experiences for incubators and entrepreneurs that we support. To do that, we need a content designer with an entrepreneurial spirit who understands digital learning, technology and education. The content designer is expected to create and design online content as well as co-strategize content design and development as we take our capacity building programs to the global ecosystem. .

SKILLS Required :

Learning Design : Be familiar with content design, structure, timing, pedagogical strategies and sequence of learning activities. Specifically but not limited to, must have the following skills :

- Understanding of principles of Instruction Design

- Ability to create content that is engaging, experiential and learner centric

- Be able to conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow them based on experimentation and customer research

- Be able to solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews

- Ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the content and product team

- Ability to evolve the content framework and patterns as per standard brand protocols

- Familiarity with assessment methodologies and frameworks

Learning Technology : Be proficient in usage of Learning Management Systems, e-learning authoring tools and multimedia production

- Tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Elucidat, Camtasia

- Experience in at least one LMS

- Knowledge of creating interactive toolkits and e-books will give you an edge

- Experience in handling video-based online content is preferred.

Visual Design :

- Have a design sensibility in new and emerging areas of digital media learning. Adept with design skills and ability to work with software such as illustrator, Photoshop, Canva etc.

- Be able to Transform complex texts into conversational, approachable language/infographics.

- Create interactive playbooks, worksheets, workbooks, templates focused on entrepreneurship education.

- Craft user interface text, conversational UI scripts, product messaging for end users who are primarily incubator managers and startup entrepreneurs

Overall responsibilities :

- Plan and implement content development for incubator and entrepreneur capacity development

- Work as part of a content team to execute content strategy for multiple learning platforms across a continuum of entrepreneurial training curriculum,

- Apply industry best practices in developing online learning content and toolkits to improve incubator and entrepreneur learning outcomes

Ideal Candidate Profile :

- 5+ years of experience in learning design, content development, or related field

- Deep knowledge of design principles and methods

- Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovation

- Effective verbal and written English skills

- Willingness to work in a collaborative working environment

- Keen interest in entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem
