VT FinTech - Business Analyst/Product Manager

VT FinTech, a young financial technologies company is looking for a business analyst for its first product targeting Investment Managers (Traditional and Alternative) and Allocators (various Pension and Sovereign Funds) across all developed markets.

The candidate should have broad knowledge of asset management industry, various financial instruments (vanilla and exotic) and benchmarks (market and custom benchmarks). He/She should be from a Tier-1 MBA college and Pre-MBA IT experience is preferred but not mandatpory.

Responsibilities :

- Own the product completely by managing the product development and client requirements

- Perform business analysis for all requirements coming from on boarded clients and give demos to all new prospective clients identified in each of Europe, US and Asia Pacific geographies.

- Track the progress and test the business functionality of the product.

- Perform integration analysis at client's location to understand the existing systems and design the best possible way of integration.

- Someone who has worked in a similar role post-MBA for an year or 3 is ideal. People who have worked as BAs within IT consulting for Asset managers or big banks will be a great fit. People from captive units of banks are also preferred. The role will involve travelling to client locations (existing client is based in Europe) within the first few months of joining. Infact, the product is a game changer in the way allocations are done today and hence more responsibilities will soon shape up in terms of client management.

- Potential candidate will join a small team of 4 people (3 developers and a team lead), hence there is a huge opportunity to grow. Employee stock options are on the table as well for the right candidates apart from salary.

Location is Hyderabad/Pune

Salary range - 12-15 LPA
