Profile: - The Workout & Recovery Management (WRM) team manages distress names in workout for the Bank's corporate and investment banking portfolio. The APAC team manages the regional portfolio that covers NJA, Japan and Australia.

- Manage distress accounts in APAC in partnership with Business

- Monitor and analyse the Banks position in the distress assets and devise strategies to maximize recoveries and reduce credit losses

- Work with Workout Credit to manage workout names, assess Credit losses - LLPs, CVA and mark to marker positions.

- Liaising with external parties (borrowers, other creditors, law firms, restructuring advisory firms, liquidators) on workout cases

- Drive Restructuring negotiation, arranging/ attending creditors meetings/ calls, sourcing for distressed debt buyers, arranging beauty parades for selection of financial advisors, filing of legal claims, sourcing/ negotiating contracts /engaging consultants such as valuation firms and sector specialists etc. negotiating documentation

- Working together with Credit on Impairment/ provisioning assessments
