Opening for Vice President : Virtualization and Computing & Storage (Presales) (i.e 2 vericals to be handled :- Virtualization and Computing & Storage)

Job overview: The Pre-Sales virtualization person is responsible for consulting, analysis, design, and implementation support for Project

Primary Responsibilities and Activities:

- Individual should work with sales team to identify business and technical requirements for vdi, server consolidation

- Architect for virtualization platforms like VMWareESX/ESXi, Citrix XenServer andvdi , application delivery.

- should be able to prepare solution documents & presentation for customer

- should interface with vendor for technical experts

- should develop and maintain relationships with clients

- Need to have skills to develop designs based on the latest advanced virtualization technologies

- should perform network readiness and current state telephony assessments

- should provide knowledge transfer and detailed design/operational documentation to clients and internal teams

- should have worked in citrix,vmware solutions

Preferred knowledge and skill set:

- Architect for virtualization platforms like VMWareESX/ESXi, Citrix XenServer andvdi , application delivery.

- Design knowledge of backup solutions.

- Extensive experience in developing the product, right from concept building to final delivery to customer support including Idea generation, product design, detailed engineering, team building, planning and timely release.

Required Academic Qualifications: BE or Diploma OR Graduation in any stream

Job overview: The Pre-Sales Computing and Storage person is responsible for consulting, analysis, design, and implementation support for Storage Built Project

Primary Responsibilities and Activities:

- He/She should have experience in IT Infrastructure domain, products and vendors, HW & SW storage & other related domain

- should have sound knowledge of server platforms and storage technologies, preferably with OEM certifications

- will be responsible to design computing and storage/SAN layout based on customer requirements.

- should be able to carry out Proof of Concepts (POC) of new storage architectures for customers

- needs to work closely with Serve /Storage vendor to offer right IT products & solutions to customers.

- should know platform support, storage Management, database, sizing and pricing concepts

- should be able to identify sales opportunities and proven experience within the RFI / RFP process

- should be able to work with computing /storage vendors for the RFP response, provide BoM, cost model and technical solution during engagement cycles

- Should be able to assist in the development of functional group processes, activities and products that support bid activity.

- Should support sales and marketing on the technical queries, service offerings etc.

- should build & maintain the repository for deliverables, methodologies and business support related presentations, documents, co-ordination with internal & external teams

- Should be able to provide solution and making Bill of Material of multiple OEMs like NetApp , HP, Oracle, EMC, VMware and Citrix .

Preferred knowledge and skill set:

- Cisco UCS knowledge would be an advantage

- NAS & SAN Technology awareness

- Should have exposure to handling solution business involving OEMs such as NetApp, HP, EMC, VMware , Oracle, Citrix , NetApp

- In depth knowledge of storage subsystems like NetApp/EMC/HP Storage

- AIX/Unix/Linux/windows/MVS administration knowledge preferred

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Apply commercial interpretation to the technical solution to create a proposal that is sales-oriented.
