The Global Transaction Expense Team is responsible for managing Investment Bank's trading costs (including brokerage, clearance and exchange fees).
- This includes providing transparency on nature of costs incurred, associated vendors and analytics of cost drivers whilst supporting the business managers with initiatives to reduce Trading costs
- To facilitate this effort, the team undertakes an end-to-end suite of tasks including invoice receipt, invoice validation, expense allocations, expense reporting and supporting cost savings projects.
- The Senior Operations Analyst will be responsible for developing processes to measure productivity at the COE, manage critical external client relationships and institute robust controls and risk management techniques for functions performed at the COE.
- In addition, the successful candidate will also participate in day-to-day oversight of the COE facility in India (of 40 people) which supports our invoice receipt, invoice validation and expense allocations related tasks
Qualifications:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant, postgraduate MBA in Finance or equivalent
- Required background in Finance
- Required strong interpersonal skills with large team management experience
- Self-motivating with good leadership skills
- High level of enthusiasm and a good team player
- Preferred offshore vendor management experience
- Preferred experience in migration of processes/change management
- Preferred investment banking operations background
- Understanding of various systems like P2P, Flexcube, GMI, GPS, EGAINS, etc. would be a plus
