VP - Technology - Bank

We are currently scouting for a VP - Technology for a leading Global Bank,

Role - VP Technology

Experience - 15 +

Roles & Responsibilities

- Be the primary point of contact and relationship manager for the local business, country and other technology/operations leaders. The candidate must be comfortable with interacting with partners at a SVP level in both written and oral English.

- Manage the local technology team, expected to be around 25+ permanent staff & 35+ outsourced team. This will include responsibility for hiring, training and performance management, change management, release management & problem management. T

- Manage a number of critical local payments, dealing and clearing systems. This includes application development, vendor management, application support, infrastructure support , initiative planning and scoping for production activities.

- Manage current and next gen Technology infrastructure, project management, familiarity with control & management tools viz – Altiris, TSM, SSM , DLP etc.

- Facilitate Information security controls implementation , gap analysis & process reengineering

- Interface with local regulators to support audit and compliance reviews.

- Co-ordinate with regional teams to implement local stability and process improvement review programs.

- Manage financial forecasts and actuals for the team.

Technical Competencies

Strong knowledge of information technology from infrastructure, information security, deployment assurance and networking to application development and deployment

ITIL, CISA, CISSP certifications a plus(preferred)

Core Banking / Financial Applications migrations & management, internet banking, Finacle , IMEX management a plus

Product Knowledge

- Corporate, Consumer & T&M Banking products and the Corporate Treasurer function that the products support

- India Clearing and Regulatory environment

The incumbent should be working with a bank currently.
