VP - Tax Operations

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversight of daily line production activities performed by multiple teams

- Work with global teams to support implementation of evolving IRS and global tax regulations

- Effectively communicate with colleagues in Tax Advisory, Technology, business units and the rest of Operations to manage inquiries and issue resolution

- Provide regular feedback / reporting to management

- Act as a risk manager through ongoing awareness of the tax regulatory environment and the firm's adherence to its tax reporting obligations

- Work with teams across regions to drive issue resolution

- Ensure proper documentation of process flows and advocate for automation and scalability

- Develop team's ability to remediate anomalies in tax processes and develop control improvements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor degree and at least 7 years relevant work experience in Operations, Accounting, Finance or related field

- Experience leading teams, managing budgets and developing strategy

- Knowledgeable about securities processing, corporate actions, and asset servicing

- Master degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or CPA
