NOTE: Experience in banking domain is mandatory

In short, we need someone who will be responsible for cloud computing or cloud architecture and possess banking domain experience.

Purpose of role

To Manage current Systems and assist leadership in developing new Systems

Key Competencies

- Advanced understanding of "Cloud Architectures" (e.g., SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and the ability to address the unique considerations of Cloud Computing.

- Deep understanding of the IT processes to lead the discussion in applying technology to solve complex IT challenges

- Translate business requirements using complex methods/models to determine appropriate architectural solutions.

- Work within a cross-functional team to provide technical expertise in the design and planning.

- Establish and implement technology migration strategies for applications or architectures.

- Provide mentorship and training of other associates on processes and tools; and to handle more complex issues/requests.

- In-depth knowledge of the Unix / Linux / Windows / Virtualization / storage / Database (Oracle / other DBs), Networking, IT security and overall architecture

- Deep understanding of technology utilize within IT to effectively operate infrastructure services

- Requires knowledge of applications programming, database, infrastructure, information management, and business processes and strategic goals.

- Must have expertise relating to the design and development of information technology architectures across the enterprise.

- Requires expert knowledge of a wide variety of technologies such as development tools and platforms, application servers, database servers, web servers, integration technologies and middleware, etc.

- Must be able to define and evangelize the Architecture artifacts and processes that support Reference Architectures, SDLC, Governance, etc.

- Experience architecting solutions that leverage, augment or replace existing monolithic architecture to meet business objectives.

- Makes sound integration architecture decisions based on expertise (knowledge) of open/industry standards, current and evolving technologies, products, standards, patterns, approaches, etc.

- Review proposed solution architectures, identify risks and provide remediation recommendations in line with established standards and overall integration architecture.

- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to work with both technical and non-technical personnel at all levels in the organization.

- Must be able to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.

- Must be self-motivated, work independently or as part of a team, able to learn quickly, meet deadlines and demonstrate advanced problem solving and analytical skills

Experience Profile 1 :

Infrastructure Manager for Bank, Stock broking firm with retails focus in Wealth or banking domain

Must have a "Can do mind set"

Alternate Experience Profile 2:

(1) Senior Manager IT in a an OLTP company with cloud experience

(2) Should have participated in multiple solution implementations

(3) Must have "Can do mind set"

Knowledge sought:

(1) Deep understanding of banking - especially

- the challenges faced by retail banking

- Costs of running business operations

- Understanding of risks (operational) that exist

- Understanding of best practices in his work area
