VP - Supply Chain Management - Retail

The role is for Vice President- Supply Chain for an Indian based powerhouse in the retail sector managing end to end supply chain capabilities across various supply chain domains

E.g. Global Sourcing, Procurement, Manufacturing Complexities, Planning, Commercial Negotiations, logistics, transportation, demand planning, analytics, reliability engineering, transportation and warehousing.

Essential Attributes:

- 15-20 Years of Experience in Supply chain management, Procurement, Global Sourcing, Warehouse Management

Preferred Industry: Engineering, Pharma, FMCG, Paints, White Goods, & Textile

Job Description:

- Experienced Supply Chain Manager with a proven track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvements across all areas of supply chain process, initiatives and teams.

- Oversee the enterprise supply chain function and the execution of its vision, goals, strategy and initiatives

- Involve in Global sourcing and procurement.

- The main functions would include performing inventory management, managing transportation costs and routes, making decisions on warehousing and distribution methods, and developing strong business relationships with vendors.

- Must be results-driven individuals that are proficient in creating and monitoring cost-reduction initiatives.

- Understand the manufacturing complexities and plan the production accordingly.

- Manage the entire man power planning and training for the entire department.
