Hiring for a Global Bank - VP/Supervisory Analyst - Mumbai (FINRA 16)

Roles & Responsibilities :

The Supervisory Analyst reviews, edits, and approves for publication Research content including reports, presentations, and models under regular deadline pressure. The SA must have a firm command of all relevant regulatory rules and requirements, as well as a strong grasp of language and style, and the ability to work effectively and efficiently with other SAs and Editors, as well as Research Analyst and Compliance teams.

Duties:

- Review Asia ex-Japan research in a busy environment, including in-depth company and industry reports, pre-deal research reports, quick-take notes, models, and PowerPoint presentations to ensure compliance with FINRA and regional rules and firm policies, handing off to other SA team members as necessary.

- Edit research as required to maintain high quality standards.

- Interact with analysts and associates to correct any pre-publication issues in a timely and professional manner with diplomacy and a sense of teamwork.

- Participate in assigned training and maintain and communicate SA guidelines to new joiners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree, MBA or other professional designation

- At least five years of Equity Research industry experience

- Series 16 license or ability to sit for exam and acquire license in short order.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as working knowledge of MS Office suite.

- Ability to work well with others as part of a team, or independently under tight deadlines and in a professional manner.
