KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with senior SBIM, Retail Business, Retail Finance, Global Process Managers (GPM) and Stakeholders on various transition initiatives, in line with organization objectives
- Lead & manage SBIM Transitions into GFS working with key stakeholders both onshore and within GFS
- Provide Project Management & Governance discipline on individual migrations to ensure successful delivery of the transitions within time and costs agreed
- Lead and manage the SBIM transitions whilst providing supervisory cover to the resources. Provide necessary support, review and back up cover plans for the Function
- Provide oversight over multiple transitions and provide both domain (SBIM) expertise and functional (transitions & integration management) expertise to ensure service delivery measuring to quality standards outlined
- Ensure documentation / transition artifacts are completed on time and per quality standards
- Ensure adherence to Transition and Integration framework and procedures. Set best practices / benchmarks within the overall Transition and Integration Process where required
- Drive process standardization, automation, data quality improvements, controls enhancement and operational risk reduction agendas working where necessary with the respective BAU teams
- Contribute to the broader Global Process Manager agenda covering initiatives such as MI standardization, Robotics, Planning etc in line with the Target Operating Model
- Prior to integration into BAU, manage analysis & reporting across all Retail products/segments / Private Banking for transitions including scorecard performance tracking and incentive calculation
- Lead & manage the Integration of transitioned processes into the Global Service Offering Model (GSOM) which is based on the Target Operating Model for Performance Management
- Effectively lead change, manage and escalate risks arising out of transition of new processes and adhere to the policies set by the Group
- Ensure compliance of regulations, policies & requirements of the - in scope- countries and reports and raise relevant risks to delivery by effective communication
- Manage a team of approx 20-25 professionals ensuring that transitions are adequately staffed with right mix of resources. Lead talent acquisition to support growth where required.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team to ensure best practices of talent management are followed
- Upholding the Values of the Group and Company at all times
KEY COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:
- Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset, coupled with a thorough understanding of Performance Management of Retail business.
- Experience of having led or overseen org Design / transitions agenda in an Organization of comparable scale or industry
- Ability to design processes and procedures which are continually reviewed, improved and changes communicated for effective implementation, with consensus of key leaders in the wider organisation.
- Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the Retail business.
- Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Broad spectrum knowledge of System Capabilities and Application platforms for realising business objectives, including products and services, operations, and delivery.
- Substantial experience of banking, depth and breadth of knowledge in processes especially in the areas of Retail business analytics.
- A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team.
