Responsibilities
- Full Time Oversee and evaluate business policies and operating practices, which includes the continuous review and improvement of processes, policies, internal controls, operating standards, and procedural systems.
- Design solutions that combine delivery models, technology and managed services.
- Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the operations and business plans
- Drive strategic initiatives that meet the organization's short-term and long-term plans and budgets based upon broad organization goals and objectives
- Advise the CEO and other key members of senior management on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters
- Constantly innovate and iterate to ensure maximum productivity through optimal utilization of resources.
- Managing all the teams under operations ensuring KRAs of different teams are defined and streamline day to day operations in line with business requirements
- Optimizing and improving quality, scaling teams and processes as business and markets evolve.
- Responsible for setting up any new business operations, geographies as and when needed
- Competitive Understanding: Keep a close watch on competitors in each city. Any opportunity in pricing, talent, business model tweaks should be utilized in discussion with the management.
- Decision Taking - Attitude to be able to choose best option when no good is available. Ability to take calls on When, How, What on growth metrics
Requirements:
- Should have 10 - 15 years of experience, passionate about getting things done and interested in improving Travel Industry across. Exposure to a startup environment will be useful but not essential. In addition, a sense of humor and the willingness to take his/her role but not himself/herself too seriously will be a great asset.
- The role requires handling the operations of the start-up and working with multiple functions, agencies and stake holders to drive the business goals of the organization in a profitable manner.
- Candidates with strong operations background and experience in leading sales operations for a large, fast paced organization ideally from a technology focused company. Must have experience in managing large teams across the country focusing on efficiency and improvement without compromising on time.
- Financial acumen and ability to interpret P&L levers.
- Ability to organize and conduct focused discussions aimed at problem resolution and decision making
- Ability to operate in a cross-functional environment and a matrix organization
- Self-driven with a strong sense of responsibility
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to quickly gain shared vision externally and internally in order to move things forward under extremely stringent deadlines
