VP - Senior Media Intelligence Specialist - Financial Services

Our client is a leading Financial Services giant seeking experienced Senior Media intelligence Specialist for their communications team.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Under the direct guidance of the Media Intelligence Team Lead, and in collaboration with other team members, the Media Intelligence Specialist develops daily, and weekly briefings of media mentions for the organization, competitors, and media trends

- Carry out rigorous quality control for daily and weekly briefings

- Oversee and participate in daily entry of media clips data into a proprietary repository and carry out regular data quality audits with the direction of the Media Intelligence Team Lead

- Prepare drafts of standard and ad hoc Media Intelligence research assignments and provides support on wider team research projects assigned by colleagues within the External Communications (i.e., Public relations) function

- Creating a quarter-by-quarter, year-on-year report of media share of voice with robust analytics and data visualizations

- Monitoring for breaking news about issues that impact company reputation

- Presenting intelligence and insights to an audience of senior communications, marketing, and business function stakeholders

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- A minimum 5 years- total work experience completing research projects in a business context strongly preferred

- A minimum 5 years- total work experience in a Communications or Public Relations department strongly preferred

- A minimum 3 years- total work experience in Financial Services strongly preferred.

- Facility with Factiva, LexisNexis, or similar media content databases strongly preferred

- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills with internal and external customers

- Problem solving and decision-making skills
