Vp/Sr Manager - Data Scientist ( Analytics)

Role :

Based out of Gurgaon, you will be a part of a growing data sciences team and be hands on with the advance analytics techniques. Some of your key responsibilities will be :

- Help build intellectual property in the form of models, approaches, code, and written materials to support our client work and development.

- Work directly with client service teams (CSTs) globally within the Operations Practice, driving analytics assessments.

- Provide domain knowledge and expertise when relevant.

- Create valuable, transformative business strategies.

- Use statistical techniques like segmentation, clustering, linear regression, logistic regression, time series forecasting to derive meaningful insights from data.

- Be proactive and entrepreneurial in identifying new problems that can be solved through analytics.

- Build intelligent systems such as recommendation engines to leverage the large amount of data.

- Use machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems.

- Assist in identifying techniques and technology requirements to develop capabilities.

Successful Applicant :

As a successful applicant you should have :

- PhD/Masters or degree in engineering, math, statistics or relevant quantitative discipline from Tier 1 Institute like IITs/IIMs/NITs/DSE/ISI/ISB etc.

- 8 to 12 years of experience in advanced analytics - predictive analytics, statistical analytics, clustering, segmentation

- Proficiency in statistical programming tools (eg. R, SPSS, SAS, Python) is a must

- Experience with big data platforms and tools (eg. Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Pig, Cassandra, Storm) is a must

- Specific exposure and hands on experience with machine learning algorithms

- An excellent problem solver with research oriented approach

- Ability to engage well with clients
