VP - Business Analyst Manager

Development:

- The successful candidate will be part of a key initiative team, working on platinum projects that have direct impact on success of strategic programs for the bank. The successful candidate gain experience working on large mission critical applications. And develop knowledge and expertise on Cash and Treasury management products and services.

Overview:

- BE is the Next Generation Collaborative Online Banking Platform Leverages New Technologies to Deliver Enhanced Features and Functionality. BE is a key initiative for GTS to establish the next generation

- This position is responsible for creating and maintaining requirements for cash management products including Payments, Direct Debit etc. The position will require the candidate to work collaboratively with various cross functional teams in identify the roadmap for the Next Generation Online Banking Platform

- The complex projects and initiatives require a business analyst who can work with business sponsors, clients, various subject matter experts and the various interfacing business and technology groups to understand and manage requirements

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand customer requirements and translate into technical deliverable across a wide array of products and technologies

- Analyze and understand the current Cash Management product offerings within the bank in general and in particular

- Create business model and logical data models for cash management products

- Reverse engineer the business model for the Cash management products on existing applications

- Interface with and collaborate with the technology and architect team to help identify and define services interfaces for SOA

- Partner with the business and technical teams and create and maintain the Functional design for the various modules in the platform

- Identify, create and maintain Functional Requirements, User Interface requirements and Service interface requirements per the processes established in the organization

- Document and maintain Use Cases, Functional Design, and System Specification

- Follow the SDLC process established in the organization and create and maintain all relevant requirements artifacts

- Support development, QC and UAT teams of the various projects

- Act as subject matter expert on the various domains

- Lead the team of Business Analysts

Key Challenges:

- The candidate must be extremely results oriented and focused

- Timelines are aggressive and the candidate should welcome the challenge

- Candidate will be working on global applications; he/she should be flexible to work with regional SMEs, technology teams and business in different time zones

- This project is mandated by customer commitments so timely, high quality results are required

- Candidate should understand and grasp new applications and file formats quickly

- Prior experience with Cash Management products and Electronic Banking platform must have:

Cash Management

Payments

Direct Debit

Foreign Exchange

Global and Regional Payments Clearing and Settlement processes and settlement systems

- Ability to understand customer business process and requirements and translate into a functional requirement across a wide array of products and technologies

- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data)

- Prior experience with UML

- Ability to draft Use Cases, Process Flows, and Activity Diagrams

- Experience with creating data models, process flows and sequence diagrams are must

- Expertise in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Power Point and Visio is a must

- Good analytical and problem analysis skills

- A strong commitment to quality and efficiency

- Excellent multitasking ability - Must have ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner organizations

- Relationship management skills - ability to develop and sustain positive partnerships and be a team player (teamplayer)

- Experience of using UML, SQL/PLSQL knowledge are desired but NOT required

- Detail oriented and well organized

- Prior experience with Requirements Management tool including DOORS/Blueprint highly desired

- Prior experience with Share Point and other similar collaboration tools and Document management process required highly desired
