About our Client - Our client is a leading investment bank with rapid expansion of their operations in Indian market. As a part of migration of value added work from the US, UK, Europe and financial centers in APAC and increase in volume of trades globally, they are seeking experienced Investment Banking Operations professionals for their captive centers in India.

Job Description - As a VP - Securities Operations you would be responsible for :

- Setting up the Securities Operations from scratch

- Managing Trade Operations teams across Confirmations, Settlements, Asset Servicing etc

- Handling the Middle and Back office from an Securities Operations perspective

- Managing global stakeholders with appropriate resource allocation for various functions Ensuring efficient service delivery through effective management of team

- Partnering with onshore teams to ensure migration commitments are delivered to the best quality

- Managing compliance, regulatory and procedural risk exposure and Risk mitigation Lead project planning, progress reporting and ensuring timely delivery

The Successful Candidate :

- You must be MBA/CA with at least 12 years of relevant experience within a large investment bank in the Trade Operations space.

- You must possess excellent knowledge of settlement operations with understanding of Equity / Fixed Income products.

- Furthermore, you must have the ability to face Senior Management and to develop effective solutions to support new business initiatives, market and regulatory changes.

- You will have a hands on leadership style and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- You will have the ability to influence and drive stakeholders and be adaptive particularly to cultural diversity.
