A product strategy and leadership role responsible for transforming how new products are identified, developed, launched and managed in a firm to create and sustain its market dominance.
- In this role you will work as a leading member of the product development team to manage the delivery of scalable, high-performance solutions for transaction-intensive web applications and services.
- Related responsibilities will include defining and developing project plans, managing and mentoring personnel, helping developers resolve technical issues, monitoring and reviewing project progress, and serving as a liaison for internal stakeholders.
Desired profile:
- B.Tech/B.E Degree in Computer Science + MBA or equivalent
- Minimum 12 years of technical management experience leading strong technical teams to meet business demands.
- Prior hands-on experience working through the design and development using agile methodology
- Manage Specification, design, development, and debugging of scalable and high-performance service-based web applications. Strong experience in SAAS, PAAS is must.
- Experience in some of the technologies like C#, Java, ASP.NET, MVC, PHP, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, Web Services and API development using REST or SOAP
- Experience with one or more of the following databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, Couchbase or other NoSQL technologies
- Experience solving complex and large-scale software problems
- Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology like Scrum, Kanban
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
- Proven experience growing teams and leveraging technology to scale employee productivity
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, and outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Absolute trustworthiness with high standards of personal integrity; willingness to undergo vetting and personality assessment
- Ability to provide strategic guidance and oversight to multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, other managers/directors, and Sr. Leadership
- A thirst for knowledge and the desire to stay abreast of new developments in the dynamic IT space is a must
- Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision are a must
- Occasional International travel is likely.
