VP - Private Wealth Management Operations - BPO/BFSI

Business Unit Overview:

Private Wealth Management (PWM) Operations supports Private Wealth Management, which is responsible for advising wealthy individuals on strategies to build and protect their financial assets through highly customized advice and service.

PWM Operations is instrumental in meeting our clients' needs and is responsible for the development, service delivery and control of global private banking; proprietary and open architecture alternative investment vehicles; derivatives trading; bookkeeping, accounting, performance measurement and reporting of custodied assets and away-custodied assets; multiple externally managed account platforms; and multiple custody services.

Responsibilities:

- The group works in a fast moving environment, and the project managers are expected to learn quickly, to efficiently manage time and priorities, to be able to effectively navigate the organization, to drive change and ultimately bring projects to completion within budget and with minimal risk to the organization.

- The Vice President needs to multi-task well and be able to adapt quickly to an ever-changing list of demands. The role will require extensive coordination and interaction with various Operations teams, Technology, Compliance, Legal and other professionals across the firm.

Principal Responsibilities:

- Assembling stakeholders, documenting project plans and design specifications, flow charting, and development of test plans

- Manage projects involving regulatory changes, new business, operational processes, architecture implementation, and efficiency initiatives

- Drafting professional project related communications

- Ability to perform a lead role in the coordination across various Federation teams, Business Units, and Operations

- Develop and implement project strategies to meet aggressive deadlines.

- Coordinate required documentation review and senior manager sign off at key milestones.

- Provide post production follow-ups and sign-off

- Minimum 9 years experience in Operations management

- Should be from Shared service center (Captive Unit) of a Reputed Investment Bank.

- Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business discipline would be ideal.
