We are currently Hiring VP (Vice President) - Modern Trade, with one of our client organization. The Company is Global leader in the development of smartphones, tablets, wireless web access products and services. It is national level role and the incumbent will be directly working under the Global CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Modern trade channel development and monitoring channel health in terms of channel inventory.
- Negotiate agreements with distributors, sub-distributors, OEM's and value-added re-sellers who will in turn find and sell to large, modern retail stores, multi-brand stores, specialty stores and shops.
- Deliver business results through retail chains.
- Design and execute sales schemes to ensure desired sell out.
- Negotiate terms of business with channel partners covering margins, SKU range, product display, in-store brand visibility and payment terms
- Set up and manage network of distributors in India
- Spear-heading sales campaigns
- Manage marketing budget
Key Qualifications:
- Overall 8-15 Years of experience, with minimum 5 years in senior-level sales role in consumer electronic sales & trade channel development.
- Minimum 5 years experience acquiring contracts and agreements with distributors
- Negotiation skills, tact, autonomy, public relations skills
- Demonstrated time management, organizational, collaborative and prioritization skills
- Willingness to travel
