The opening is with one the leading Banking/Financial Services organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the hiring and training of a team of 100+ analysts/associates based in Mumbai and Gurgaon
- Coordinate the team structure, hiring plans and processes with onshore teams in AMRS, EMEA & APAC regions
- Ensure sector/functional teams are well integrated with on shore team
- Manage the compensation discussions/career paths of the offshore team in conjunction with onshore and offshore leadership
- Create team leadership structure which can create next generation of leadership
- Interact regularly with IB and sector/functional leadership to ensure optimal training and integration of the offshore and onshore teams
- Prioritize drives to improve quality and efficiency
- Identify key areas for further synergies with IB and other Global Banking & Markets businesses worldwide.
Key Attributes:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in relevant industry of which 7-8 should be in a leadership role
- Strong IB skills base in both technical and transaction elements
- Proven management skills having led at least a major offshore sector or functional team for a leading Investment Bank
- Desire to grow and build his/her our team well integrated with a global bank
- Interest in longer-term career with the company, including other opportunities offshore/onshore
- Good thought process on how to build and manage a team given pressures of turn-over, desire for front line jobs in India or elsewhere, etc.
