My Client is one of the well Known buiders in the Real Estate Industry, is looking out for VP-Legal for Bangalore Location

JOB DESCRIPTION

VP LEGAL

To provide efficient legal services to the organisation and support all the functions in fulfilling their objectives, have risk free environment and comply the statutory requirements.

- Management of drafting of customer agreements, deeds and supplier contracts.

- Management of legal records of properties and litigation

- Management of litigation of all courts.

- Management of law department including integrated management system and audits

- Provide timely, practical legal advices on all issues affecting the organisation.

- Management of completed Projects - law related issues.

- Coordinating with external advocates with respect to various court matters.

- Preparation and drafting of MOUs, sale agreements, development agreements, procurement …. Agreement, General power of attorney.

- Negotiate on property matters with the land owner and drafting the lease documents, registration etc.

- Advice on merger and acquisition, corporate commercial and property documents and to deal with all the affairs of the legal department for the organisation litigation, management, interpretation of clauses.

- Fully examine risks and consequences before making difficult decisions

- Consistently demonstrate an ability to make logical, well reasoned and timely decision even in situation of ambiguity and incomplete information.

- All aspects of the commercial deals not limited to but including negotiations legal terms in the contracts.

- Managing legal compliances, remedial matters and comply with all liaisoning laws not limited but including trade license, local government license, labor laws.

- Intellectual property Trade mark, patent and registration of trade mark in different clauses for the private labels and dealing with attorneys.

- Candidates should be from Strong law background with 20 - 25 Total work experience

- Should have handled corporate law,litigation, criminal law

- Should have worked with Top builders in the country.

Candidates from Real Estate Industry and local candidates are preferred.
