VP - Legal - IT/BPO

Job Description for VP - Legal Role

1) Should be conversant with Companies Act, 1956.

2) Should have good drafting and negotiation skills. This includes both drafting and finalization of agreements.

3) Experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating vendor agreements, service level contracts, etc.

4) Should have working knowledge of litigation.

5) Should also have exposure to HR, Labour laws and employee related issues;

6) Ability to provide independent opinions and take judgement calls; and

7) Should also be a computer savvy.

8) Added advantage, if exposed to Banking Law and Practice;

9) Added advantage if he is conversant with RBI and SEBI regulations and exposed to FEMA guidelines;

10) Background in IT / Technology / BPO / Outsourcing industry;

11) Added advantage of Law Firm experience.
