To support HR/Facilities for India and General day to day legal support.
Roles & Responsibilities
HR:
- Have regular meetings / 1:1 with Key stakeholders and attend staff meetings to understand the needs and requirements
- Render day to day support to the HR team pan India
- Updating the client on latest legal developments relevant/ significant to the business.
- Litigation management for HR disputes.
- Facilitating interpretation of various legal provisions relevant for HR issues.
- Support on HR queries related to new acquisitions.
Facilities:
- Support for title verification for new premises and documentation of new premises lease/ purchase.
- Litigation management.
- Facilitating responses to landlords on various lease interpretation issues.
- support all the requirements of the function in terms of advice documentation of leases, terminations, extensions , etc
- attend and contribute at the facility staff meetings
- Support the closure of the pending facility related litigations
- Updating the client on latest legal developments relevant/ significant to the business.
Procurement:
- Advice the business in day to day activities on a need basis.
- Working in close co-ordination with the contract team and vetting and approving drafts containing non-standard clauses on a case to case basis.
Support to the other support functions such as finance, accounts, tax, and treasury team on a case to case basis.
Ethics and Compliance – support through information and advice on a case to case basis
Academic & Trades Qualifications
- LLB Degree from a recognized University
- 10+ years of Work Experience in Legal Function
- Knowledge of HR and property laws in India
- Strong legal knowledge in required areas (as above), can think on her feet, handle challenges which suddenly come your way, team player, Positive Attitude, Good communication and drafting skills, ability to engage confidently with senior leadership
