VP/Lead Consultant Specialist - Technical Leadership - Investment Bank

Our Client is world's largest Investment Bank, looking for technical resource for their Global Development Team

Role Purpose :

- Provide technical leadership to Pulsar PC Portal team

- Analyse & capture functional & non-functional requirements for Finance and/or Product Control's long-term (strategic) and short-term projects.

- Work with business analysts, users and system developers to define data sources and detailed business rules for P&L, Accounting and Regulatory Reporting systems

- Understand the system data flows from Front to Back.

- Seek opportunities to make the Finance's business processes more effective and efficient across business lines and regions

- Review and manipulate trade and market data to understand the variety of scenarios that need to be catered for and prepare test packs

- Liaise with development teams and business globe

- Input to project plans, status and risk/issue management

- Role consists of Design and Analysis, Development and Support for in-house developed application.

- Supporting business development initiatives as required.

- Liaison with other disparate IT teams (onshore & offshore) to develop/enhance source system feeds.

- Assessing impact of system changes, ensuring adequate testing is performed and no impact on existing processes.

- Keeping management informed and up to date with systems development and implementation timelines.

- Adhering to defined quality standards, department policies and procedures.

To qualify for this job you will require :

- Understanding of complex development lifecycles, testing and deployment.

- 12+ Years of IT experience in the below areas.

- Experience of design, development and support Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 environments.

- Experience in technically leading a team

- Extensive experience with SQL queries.

- Experience with SSIS package development.

- Experience in SSRS report development.

- Experience in performance tuning.

- Experience in troubleshooting of high priority PROD issues.

- Knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing.

- Understanding of full project life cycle; analysis, design, development, test, release and support procedures.

- Exposure to ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) tools and concepts.

- Knowledge of Global Markets and Product Control will be a plus.
