Technical Architect - j2EE & Corporate Banking Domain
Job Description / R & R: Act as a subject matter expert in j2EE
- Should be proficient in Performance Tuning of j2EE applications:
a) Appserver Tuning
b) Database Tuning
c) Application Tuning
d) Experience in using tools like jProbe and Analysing their contents
- Where required, attend customer meetings to ensure the customer understands the technical solution and the value of the solution
- Participate in fitment study, requirement gathering at client site as a Technical Architect
- Analysis of technical requirements, creating Architecture Document
- Review designs to ensure that it meets performance criteria
- Explain to designers and developers what is required and overseeing the progress
- Perform analysis and recognise patterns in data to initiate incremental improvements and solutions to existing processes, products and systems in own area
- Recommend step improvements in own area and between areas, including awareness of best practice
Desired Profile Qualifications:
- Qualification in Information systems/Computer Science or similar discipline with a BE (Preferably having a PG Degree).
Skills and experience:
- Should be strong in J2EE, Weblogic / Webshpere / JBOSS with Internals, OOAD and UML, Struts, Oracle(PL/SQL)
- Should be strong in JMS/MDB and other messaging services like MQ
- Should have atleast 2 years experience as a Tech Arch
- Should be strong in Designing skills with atleast 3-4 years of exposure to Rational Rose/Visio and any other such tool
- Should have working experience on Load Balancing, Clustering (horizontal and vertical), capacity planning
- Proficient on MVC, Struts and Spring framework
- Excellent communication and business customer relationship skills
- Ability to negotiate to achieve positive outcomes
- Good problem solver and Structured thinker
- Ability to work on multiple projects at any one time including IT as well as Business projects
