Looking for a IT Sales specialist - for a Niche IT services Firm based in Chennai . The candidate will head overall Sales Strategy for the organization as a critical member of the Executive Leadership group
1. Ability to manage a team size of 35+ for lead generation
2. Strong people manager
3. Strong understanding of the Indian IT market and has been in front end sales - preferable in the IT services space
4. Willing to work in US timings
5. Not looking at candidates from a product license sales background .
Responsible for achieving targets based on client acquisition and revenue generation
- Identify new opportunities in Direct /Channel space.
- Responsible for the creation, implementation and execution of Sales Plan Generating leads and successfully converting them to achieve targets
- Identify and analyze business opportunities through leads generated by the team. Ensure conversion of qualified leads into customers.
- Responsible for executing campaigns and strategies for acquiring new business.
- Manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle.
- manage strategic accounts and identify opportunities with existing customers.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to business development team, manage team dynamics, and provide industry best practices
- Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas
- Take ownership of the management of the sales and marketing functions of the business
- To direct the team to identify prospective business contact from various channels.
- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth
- Talent for effectively interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Requirement Experience and Skills:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Business Development in US Market.
- Willing to work on EST time Zone
- Must have proven track record of revenue generation.
- Knowledge of sales management tool / software such as Sales Force, CRM is desired.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills essential.
- Good understanding of the sales process.
- Prior sales experience with offshore delivery model essential.
- Prior experience in working at CXO level
- Should be able to comprehend new solution offerings based on industry trends.
- Excellent skills in making presentations. Deep understanding of the software services outsourcing, enterprise offerings and consultancy approach.
- Experience in Mobile Technology will be an added advantage
