Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Lead the development and execution of the Human Resources strategic plan and shorter term plans and initiatives to support the business strategies and promote a unified company culture.

Manage the common processes and day-to-day operations of Human Resources, including policy and process level direction to subsidiaries.

Key initial requirements include:

Oversee and facilitate the annual performance review process, including training for managers and supervisors.

Develop and implement a succession planning process for key positions

Create and implement recruitment and selection processes (requisition approval, interview techniques, assessments, reference checks, extending offers, tracking applicants, on boarding; reviews etc.)

Identify gaps in skill and knowledge and assist in developing programs that meet the needs of management and employees.

Work with Executive Management Team to develop effective internal communications (between and among management and employees) to promote morale and achieve goals.

Provide leadership to the HR team and build organizational capability and effectiveness. Ensure a strong focus on internal customer satisfaction.

Provide HR advice and counsel to executive leadership on HR issues.

Accurately diagnose organizational issues, develop solutions, and implement them

Ensure compliance and maintain a thorough knowledge on regulatory requirements.

Lead or oversee support to the CMD and Executive Management Team Members in matters relating to executive compensation and benefits and company-wide talent management/succession planning.

Lead or oversee teams working with HR on various People initiatives.

Promote quality, safety and security in all HR activities.

Knowledge and Skills

Demonstrate strong leadership style

Working knowledge of and experience in managing staffing and employee relations.

Working knowledge of and experience in managing compensation, benefits, and retirement plans.

Working knowledge of and experience in managing deployed HR services.

Working knowledge of and experience in managing talent management functions such as learning and development, succession planning and performance management.

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels – with the CMD and leadership team and with employees at all levels.

Demonstrable change management execution experience.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Strong project management skills.

Strong collaborative problem solving skills.

Experience / Education

Master’s Degree in HRM from reputed Institutions (mandatory)

A minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or services environment.

Experience in managing others and leading initiatives.

Experience with the creation and management of budgets.
