VP-HR (Comp & Ben and Business HR) for large US based Financial Org. LOCATION–DELHI NCR

STEPS is an Executive Search Organization headquartered in New Delhi.

I have started this Organisation after working in the industry for 16yrs in HR..

My last Organisation was CSC.. In the past worked with HCL, Nucleus S/w, NPI, DCM, Mitsui.

We partner with our clients to fill up their strategic and leadership positions for their business success.
In the process, currently we are partnering with a large Global US based Financial Organisation

POSITION – VP - HR (Comp & Ben and Business HR)

LOCATION – DELHI NCR (Detailed JD given in the mail below)

Preference to the candidates coming from Financial Organisations.

Brief description of where the role rests within the group and possibly who it reports to:

As lead and Business partner HR and Rewards(India), this is a critical role managing 2 key functions. Hard Line reporting to Head HR India and Dotted line to head rewards – APAC.

Job Purpose/Background:

- Based in Gurgaon, India, this incumbent will play the role of a senior Relationship Manager and support business functions based in the India office for all people practices. This role will also own an additional mandate for local Rewards.

- Key mandates for this incumbent will include the development and implementation of innovative engagement practices; manage all aspects of compensation and benefits in order to provide a globally consistent and locally competitive Total Rewards platform for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a primary consultant for business leads on all people practices.

- Provide local and global leads support on a range of people practices including performance management of under achievers, local statutory compliance, policy implementation, awareness.

- Lead employee engagement initiatives across the India office

- Own the design and delivery of policies for the India office with support from relevant stakeholders within HR locally and globally

- Support effective management of Talent practices, such as Performance reviews, Talent Reviews. These will be managed in partnership with local and global Talent Management team members.

- Develop and implement talent engagement and retention strategies

- Under the Rewards role the incumbent manage all compensation related processes and governance including compensation approvals, global mobility, year end compensation cycle.

- Work with vendor partners to ensure access to up to date market benchmarks and practices for compensation and benefits.

- Own key benefits implementation projects

- Close partnership with senior HR professionals to deliver consistent employee experience

Knowledge/Experience:

- A Master's degree with 10-15 years with extensive experience in a Business partner and Rewards experience. Preferably 3-4 years of management responsibility in a corporate environment.

- Excellent understanding of key HR functional areas including local regulatory compliance, Talent practices, compensation and benefits

- Exposure to organizational development initiatives including design and process implementation

- Proven track record managing senior leader relationships across geographies and ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across functional and organizational lines.

- Experience in supporting a diverse internal stakeholder group

- Open to feedback and willing to strive to improve own performance based on feedback.

- Experience in working in multi-national companies with matrix reporting structure.
