What is the focus of the function :

- The Domain Practice group is tasked with leading domain expertise buildup and solutioning for Capital Markets clients. Out of 5 key areas identified for growth, GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) is a key one.

- The function aims to bring unified and holistic offerings by offering services across IT, Analytics, Operations and Consulting to our clients in this area

What are the minimum prior qualifications to be an applicant to this role :

- At least 15 years experience in Capital Markets & BFSI industry

- At least MBA degree from a tier-1 global institute

- Should have worked more than 10 years in Risk related areas - this should be a mix of at least 3 of Regulatory Reporting, Data Management, Risk Reporting, Risk Analytics (real-time risk experience will be favorably looked upon) AML & Risk related audits

Required Skills and Capabilities :

- The experience should be in IT (consulting will get higher weightage than delivery) and at least one of the other areas listed above

- Should have strong industry connects and we should be able to obtain positive references from senior stakeholders in the said firms in CM and BFSI

- Should have led large programs in the Risk area and should have also run a P&L in this space (though we are not looking for an operational delivery person)

- Should understand trends in the industry in the Risk area, key challenges being faced, upcoming disruptive events/solutions and general mood of the industry

- Should be able to independently consult and command the right kind of bill rates for key strategic client initiatives for the client

- Should have industrial financial understands - current focus and spend, allocation of budgets, key spending areas for the future

- Should have published papers or be part of the active community in the Risk space. Membership in regulatory bodies/forums will be looked at favorably

- Complete understanding of solution financials (to drive large deals)

- Should have worked with a geographically diverse & dispersed team

- Should be able to prepare impactful presentations and drive large deals with solution, financial and resourcing best fits

- Should have been part of sales effort (just pre-sales wont do) in the Risk space

- Should have been part of senior management team in setting up practices in the Risk and Compliance areas

- Should understand the offshore-onsite delivery model

- Possess excellent communication skills
