- Investment Solutions provides Wealth Management clients with investment solutions across all major asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, multi-asset and money market funds.

Role Overview :

- We are looking for a dynamic individual, with a keen interest in financial markets, and the enthusiasm to drive their own work agenda, to lead our Investment Solutions Due Diligence team in Mumbai, India as a Vice President.

- The role will involve participating in, and overseeing, the core responsibilities of the group, building and maintaining an effective engagement model with Investment Solutions teams globally, and ensuring the team runs in an efficient and effective way with a strong focus on controls.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Manage a team of investment and operational due diligence professionals encompassing multiple asset classes and the full liquidity spectrum

- Provide feedback, oversight and direct subject matter expertise with respect to investment and operational diligence activities

- Coordinate individual and team projects with the broader global due diligence organization

- Mentor and develop junior professionals

- Interact with third party managers of new and existing mutual, hedge and private funds to assess and monitor their performance and operations

- Assist with the development and maintenance of data and tools across asset classes, working with investment and operational due diligence teams, technology, risk and control partners

Essential Skills & Experience:

- MBA or CFA Charterholder with 12+ years of work experience and 7+ years of relevant experience in an investment and/or operational due diligence role and familiarity with the asset management industry

- Broad capital markets experience across asset classes (equity, fixed income, real assets) and liquidity types (mutual funds, hedge funds, and private investments)

- Analytical experience, with a focus on financial modelling, fund manager analysis or other investment related analysis

- Experience navigating and interpreting investment documentation and understanding of fund strategies / structures

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, including 5+ years of prior experience managing teams

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external partners

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, fluid environment with multiple stakeholders
