VP - Financial Planning/Analysis & Business Intelligence - BFSI

We require a VP for Chennai Location in Business Intelligence with knowledge of Financial Planning, Financial analytics, Budgeting, Forecasting.

Below is the Job Description:

- Experience of having led a senior and experienced team of professionals focused on delivering large BI initiatives.

- Substantial experience of banking, depth and breadth of knowledge in processes especially in the areas of financial planning and analysis covering reporting and MI, budgeting and forecasting.

- Should have a sound understanding of data management practices especially in large relational models.

- Should have an in depth understanding of banking performance management metrics, objectives and underlying data structures.

- Should have delivered large end to end BI change initiatives or automation of reporting solutions through BI platforms delivering high impacting results.

- A business executive with strong analytical and strategic planning exposure, coupled with a thorough grasp of corporate development and finance experience.

- A leader and a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team.

- Ability to culturally orient in a diverse and international team environment and lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualification / Skills:

- Engineer or MBA with 12+ years of relevant experience in delivering large functional automation initiatives especially in the BI and infrastructure area within the banking industry. Should have played a key role in the design, development and implementation of process and operating models for such programs.

- Strong understanding of financial industry, specifically banking products and services

- Excellent PowerPoint skills

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Excellent people leadership and management skills.
