Description:

The Vice President of Financial Analysis will play a key role in the development of a customer analytics and reporting infrastructure in Consumer and Community Banking, and constructing a solution to create enriched account level data. This role will also assist with project management and will help provide direction to other team members.

Role and Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will partner with several organizations including Finance, IT, Risk, Accounting and Data Management to develop a new financial/analytical solution. This role will be responsible for using data warehouses to research different P&L and metric fields and compare to the general ledger where applicable.

Core activities associated with the position include the following:

Develop customer level data that reconciles with general ledger systems and ensure results tie to reported results

Develop a uniform and standard reporting capability

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in some aspects of project

Support LOB initiatives and participate in business requirement meetings, provide business requirements and assist with testing

Ensure data integrity, accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting

Identify and implement automation solutions

Develop and maintain documentation

Ensure all processes and controls are followed

Assist with BAU reporting processes

Complete ad-hoc assignments

Qualifications:

MBA degree in Finance, Accounting, or financial systems discipline.

10+ years experience in Finance, Systems, IT and/or Business Management

Strong SQL/SAS skills

Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills

Excellent communication and partnering skills

Experience in process improvement

Ability to handle multiple priorities with tight timelines

Proactive, responsive, team player, self motivated, flexible

Strong P&L knowledge

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience in banking or financial services

Hyperion Essbase experience preferred
