Job Description
Roles and responsibilities:
Lead and be the single point of contact for the regional Finance operations supporting the line finance and business partners.
Manage effective service delivery of regional finance systems
Provide the right leadership to facilitate the growth and create capabilities
Implement standardized processes across systems to manage system security, change, escalation & system monitoring
Review and assess the impact of new GL function and features.
Work closely with the IT teams and design solutions to address platform impact
Build a high performance team supporting the group strategic programs
Build the SME capability and support new process capabilities
Establish strong working relationships with business partners and line finance
Implement best practices and drive process excellence culture within the teams
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and drive re-engineering and optimization of processes
Monitor the financial platform availability and performance to meet with the performance level agreement and understand and communicate to user groups the root causes & impact
Chair production support meetings with production incident summary, Help Desk log and system availability statistics to drive efficient resolution of issues and defects identified.
Prepare and provide updates to stakeholders and management groups.
Manage production issues & resolution and communicate & escalate any challenges to the IT CoE & Regional IT teams in a timely manner.
Desired Candidate Profile :
Overall Experience of 12+years in Systems domain for Finance Industry
Has managed Systems development and support teams before, in an offshore/on shore model. Knowledge on Finance Systems will be an added advantage. Experience in GL systems development and implementation would be advantageous
Knowledge and experience of Business Analysis, IT & Business Process Re-Engineering, Transition Management, Vendor Management, Product Management, Issue Management, Systems Administration, System Change Management, System Engineering, Data Warehousing, etc. essential
Experience in achieving results in a project context using resources that do not report directly to him/her (e.g. from clients, from other functions, external suppliers, relationships that can be used to facilitate problem solving)
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with Programme team members and the wider business.
Experience of driving delivery within a complex global change programme using a variety of tools and techniques as appropriate.
Track record of delivering major projects through complete project lifecycle and has been involved in driving and managing change, including from within the line function
Has managed multi-disciplinary teams
Proven experience of IT Support TOM definition, SLA definition and implementation
Bachelors or higher degree in related field or commensurate experience.
Ability to develop effective working relationships with business partners & vendors.
Essential exposure to global programme management, Experience of managing budgets & strong reporting skills.
Ability to bring analytical rigour, structure and solution to problematic areas.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with programme team members and the wider business.
Experience of driving delivery within a complex global change programme using a variety of tools and techniques as appropriate.
Has experience in working in a global environment and ideally has worked internationally
Track record of delivering major projects through complete project lifecycle and has been involved in driving and managing change, inc from within the line function
