VP - Finance - BPO

Required Skills:

- Should have managed large sized F&A operations (Team of at least 200+) cutting across multiple towers (Accounts Payables, Record to Report) for at least a period of 5 years and have excellent domain expertise in Accounts Payables, Record to Report

- Proven record of handling clients independently and having transitioned knowledge from onshore locations

- Proven record of orientation to continuous process improvements and championing improvement projects

- Proven record of financial acumen (ability to understand complex contracts, financial budgets and ability to link initiatives to financial outcomes and drive right operational initiatives to accomplish the desired financial outcomes

Roles and Responsibilities:

- This will be a ops lead position in finance and accounting space

- The team size will be between 300 to 450 .Combination of associated and managers

- The Individual should have exposure/experience to systematically evaluate business opportunities, the entrepreneurial mindset to build on existing capabilities, and, should be able to take appropriate risks to pursue new ventures / alliances / acquisitions

- Collaborate in the prospect process including, but not limited to, due diligence, client solution design and P&L modeling

- Participate in the external marketing of the company through development of marketing collateral and participation in industry meetings and conferences

- Must have the ability to collaborate and work globally with other business leaders and functional leaders to create & commercialize existing and new product offerings

- Manage the delivery of outsourced services across globally spread out delivery network to ensure customer satisfaction and increased revenue through client up-sell

- Manage project to achieve/exceed proposal P&L expectations

- Leverage lean six sigma framework to drive continuous performance improvement.

- Implement appropriate mechanisms to identify, understand and escalate performance gaps and/or performance breakthroughs. Develop and implement improvement plans to close performance gaps.

- Proactively understand Clients business need and propose appropriate solutions

- Manage engagement staffing levels to deliver against client revenue.

Knowledge, Experience, Education:

- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required. CA/MBA would be preferred

- Should have managed team in F&A processes for at least 14 years

- Excellent knowledge of accounting should have good understanding and experience in end to end accounting process. Right from booking of day to day transaction right up to month end accruals, analytical review of Balance Sheet and Income Statement positions, closing of sub-ledgers, inter company eliminations, consolidations of multiple legal entities and statutory adjustments, 10K and 10Q reporting

- Experience in an outsourcing or shared services environment

- Understanding of sales and deal cycles -- from start to finish, commercials (Cost Structures, Deal Structures, Models), relationships and manage on-site prospect site visits

- Proficiency in desktop enterprise systems (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint)

- Willingness to travel.
