VP - Finance & Accounts - CA - Manufacturing

Role

To ensure Financial discipline, maximise return on money employed and ensuring statutory compliances

Reporting to: CMD

Job Responsibilities:

Contribution to functional direction

Financial Planning

Fund and Working Capital Management

Building Internal Financial Controls

Internal Audit Planning & Administering

Planning, implementing and maintaining Financial Information Systems along with associated Internal Controls

Audited Balance Sheet within a specified period (3 weeks at the end of each quarter and 45 days at the close of the year)

Reporting Monthly Financial and Operational MIS

Roll out sound budgeting and MIS process

Plan and monitor Cash Flows and account for departmental expenses

Develop debtor and creditor policy and full adherence to the same

Preparing Budget & Budgetary Control support to departments

Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance

Statutory Audit compliance as per Corporate timelines

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable management to ensure Working Capital requirement are within Budget

Provide data & evaluate on Return on Capital Employed on purchase of different Equipment

Ensuring IT Systems effectiveness from the Finance Perspective

Highlight visibility on Revenue v/s cost

Negotiation with Vendors along with Business teams

Project Feasibility & Finance for new Projects

Develop & Prepare appropriate Management Accounts to have Control on Margins

MIS Review

Progressive time bound reduction in cost of capital

Monthly reviews with every manufacturing and service unit

Corporate Governance

Enhance Enterprise value

Readiness preparation of IPO

Qualification & Experience:

- CA with 15 to 18 years- experience in mid-sized manufacturing organization, with last 3 years in a similar role
