We are looking for a VP Engineering for a young and a well known start up. Y Combinator-backed company, and, in fact, was the first Indian company accepted into the prestigous Y Combinator incubation program. They also participated in TechCrunch Disrupt in 2012 and currently have venture capital backing from Khosla Ventures and Battery Ventures.
They currently have over 1,000 paying customers for their subscription service. Notable enterprise customers include Adobe, Amazon, Citrix, EA Sports, Evernote, Quora, Facebook, Twitter, Walmart, Yahoo!, and Zynga.
Person with extensive expertise on Web 2.0. Should have experience working on web-related products facing millions of users.
- Someone who has managed 3 or more EMs, who have in turn managed groups of developers
- Someone who has worked on/or been responsible for an API that has a growing number of end user developers
- Someone who is likable - more along the lines of great people skills. Folks will want to work for them
- Someone who can develop their team
- Someone who has ideas on how to develop products with different technologies (i.e., Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Django, .Net app- s, Android, iOS, etc)
- Success at a tech start up would be nice but not crucial (this is more cultural than anything else)
