VP Level - Core Java and XSLT and Spring

Our Client is one of the world's largest banking and financial services organization. They are looking for a Engineering Lead for their IT Vertical

We are looking at senior role who would be responsible for below things :

- Setting up and lead team of core java and XSLT development.

- Take ownership of XSLT Development function and drive deliveries from Pune, following best practices and methodologies defined by global team.

- Work as a senior developer on the core java and xslt development

- Provide support and maintenance functions for DSL projects

- Participate in defining global standard of all XSLT development and delivery across the regulatory reporting and finance project areas for DSL

Control:

- Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which you are involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy.

- Maintain Organisation's Internal Control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.

- Be aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with your role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.

Essentials for the role are :

- Strong Java programming (Java 1.7 +)

- Spring 2.0+

- XSLT 2.0 (Saxon, Saxon EE, DOM, Jibx, Jaxb)

- Lead team (appx 7-8) senior developers. Provide technical guidance and support.

- Ability to work with a project team in multiple locations around the world

- Self motivated individual who is enthusiastic and has proven fast learning capability

- Ability to work with minimal supervision on own initiative and on multiple tasks simultaneously within an Agile/Scrum framework.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to learn and quick to adapt to changing requirements

- Proactive approach to identifying issues and presenting solutions and options
