Job description for the role of AVP/Director - Product management with one of the reputed start up client in Bangalore

Role Play

- The AVP of Product Management for Enterprise Resource Platform(ERP) products will own the product roadmap for all of our backend properties (Vendor, Delivery, Customer etc), and will lead a team of Product Managers and Engineers towards building products that make the act of discovering and ordering food seamless and enjoyable for Customers.

- 8-15yrs years of hands-on experience with product management experience in logistics/supply-chain / marketplaces (added bonus is experience in building for on-demand fleets doing hyperlocal deliveries), ideally for consumer web products or ecommerce with a total experience of more than 10+ years.

- Solid track record for delivery of high quality products.

- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a premier institute.

- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

- Ability to lead a highly motivated and innovated Product team

- Ability to work under pressure in time critical situations

- Ability to resolve conflict in a collaborative manner

- Must be a driver of change and have strong influential skills

- The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has had experience shipping successful ERP products and exhibit high-level conceptual thinking about product / user problems

- First developing a deep understanding of our users: their problems, their needs and desires

- Using sound product judgment honed over years to own product strategy. Includes proactively identifying opportunities and making actionable recommendations to drive market leadership

- Set clear measurable objectives/metrics to the team that will lead to achieving our business goals

- Partner with the business team to understand and prioritize customer needs and develop product roadmaps to deliver on meeting customer expectations

- Write business cases based on in-depth data analysis and demonstrate how that analysis impacts key product metrics

- Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis in creating product requirement documents to maximize user impact of features

- Lead the team through complete ownership of the product, from prioritization, timely execution, quality,resolving issues faced during operationalization and ensuring success metrics are met.

- Displays an inclination for numbers and a keen eye for business metrics can articulate and defend product priorities and strategy in compelling manner
