VP/Director - Origination - Private Equity Firm

PE Firm - Origination

We are looking for someone to drive Originations.

This could be at a level equivalent to VP/Director in a corporate finance firm. Essentially, this person will work on the following aspects at the PE firm

1. Generate proprietary deal flow for the firm.

2. Work with portfolio companies to formulate and execute inorganic growth strategies.

3. Help raise PE/debt for portfolio companies.

4. Establish relationships with potential buyers of portfolio companies and work on exits.

This person would be based in Bangalore and needs to have the following profile :

1. Either a CA or MBA (we are agnostic).

2. Experience in CF firm of about 10-15 years.

3. Needs to have experience of originating and closing deals in the PE/M&A space.

4. Needs to be hands on. Self starter. Possess sharp analytical skills. Established relationships would come in handy.

5. As against a CF firm, at the fund the person will have the advantage of a buyside firm.

Compensation for this person will be a combination of fixed and variable linked to the deals closed by the fund and portfolio companies.
