VP - Digital Marketing for a Digital News Start-up
Work as a part of the leadership team of Digital initiative (News & Music) at inception and progressing into a larger role for other group companies
- Responsible for developing the digital roadmap & implement a digital marketing strategy aimed at launching and growing the Digital News website by researching & evaluating digital tools, market trends, target group needs and competition in the online news space.
- Responsible for the financial plans of the business as regards the impact of digital marketing initiative on top line and cost incurred
- Preparation of annual marketing plan, budgeting, managing internet marketing, media & creative strategy for the services and segment.
- Responsible for the Digital News launch covering creation of marketing collaterals - video, brochures, whitepapers, info graphics & joint GTM activities with the Digital Agency on Record webinars, microsites, corporate site, press releases and event launch.
- Develop the right social media platforms for Brand Engagement & community marketing aimed at the target group. Responsible for establishing & maintaining strategic third party relationships
- Planning / execution of online and offline marketing campaigns
- Drive corporate communications at a national level by coordinating with media and PR agencies; hold forums through blogs / social marketing for Digital News
- Digital Media Planning and Buying.
- Working closely with the CTO for the venture and drive efficiency on Website management, analytics, campaign management for the brand & services, SEO, SEM, ORM
- Managing the target audience & retention program using online channel
- Constantly improve the volume, cost and impact metrics through strong buying, agency and publisher relationships
- Responsible for product penetration across national and vernacular markets
