Senior Delivery / Operations Manager (VP/CXO) in a startup (Bangalore)

Introduction:

- A fast growing B2B startup based out of Bangalore is looking for exceptional Delivery / Operational Managers. The startup works with leading companies and institutions across India and abroad to provide them people engagement solutions through products and services. Existing clients include Nasscom, Deutche Bank, FlipKart, IIM Bangalore, BITS Pilani and many others. This is a great opportunity for those who want to take on significant managerial responsibility right-away, and grow rapidly with a high growth and exciting startup.

What we need: We are open to people from a variety of backgrounds, but hands-on delivery management and operational experience in services industry is strongly desired. Person must have exceptional communication skills, and an ability to manage execution tasks independently. This is a full-time, Bangalore based position. We need someone with at least 3, and ideally 6+ years of experience.

We believe that people with delivery/operations experience in the following industries might be a good fit:

- Apparel/Accessories

- Other Retail or manufacturing

- IT/Software

- Event Management

- Hospitality

The person will be expected to play a leadership role in the delivery of B2B projects. He/She should be very hands-on, willing to roll up the sleeves when needed, extremely detail oriented, paranoid about timelines, and able to deliver under high pressure situations.

- This role will have direct reports, and hiring/managing them will be an important part of the job. Direct people management experience is a MUST.

- Note that this is a challenging position in a fast-growing startup- those looking for a regular "big brand" corporate job may not be the right fit. We are looking for someone keen on solving real world management and operational challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ability to deliver on aggressive deadlines

- Vendor management: ability to outsource work to manufacturing type vendors and manage their work

- Quality management / no-compromise attitude towards quality

- Working with founders and senior management of the company to set strategy and execute on strategic plans

- People management: Hiring, retaining and managing top notch client to build an A-class delivery organization
