VP/Country Head - Operations - BPO/KPO

Looking for a Business Leader with 16+ years of experience in Operations from the BPO/KPO sector

Essential Functions:

1. Prepare and review adequate plan for the control of targeted MT outputs, budget spending, MT efficiency, and customer service and manpower utilization.

2. Reviews performance against operating plans and standards. Provide directives to subordinates on interpretation of results and approve changes in the direction of plans.

3. Implement new clients.

4. Operate and effectively manage the 3 hubs of the company across India.

5. Develop and present to the Senior Vice President matters requiring a decision.

6. Working closely with our US teams to develop new strategies to optimize existing resourced in order to maximise ROI.

7. Regular Analysis reports to be made & shared with our US Teams with regards to Manpower, Systems, Processes etc.

8. Attending online meetings & Con call with both the Sr. members of the Indian & US team to give or take regular updates on any Operational related queries.

9. Develop and recommend corporate operations policy within the Operations Department.

10. Define and recommend objectives in each area of Operations. Develop specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.

11. Prepare cost control Reports, Cost estimates, Manpower and facilities requirements forecasts.

12. Present monthly reports on performance for Rhythm of Business and other review meetings / discussion as requested by the Senior Vice President.

13. Coordinate and collaborate with other departments of the organization in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.

14. Review major projects of Operations involving major functional changes within the Department's functional areas.

15. Develops plans for new areas of technology with sufficient planning for areas that support the mission of the organization within Operations.

16. Serve as a role model in professional attitude, knowledge, demeanour, and execution of duties.

17. Maintain close relationship with the team for the successful running of business.

18. Adhere to rules governing confidentiality and compliance at all times. Understand and comply with policies and procedures.

19. Select and maintain qualified personnel in all positions reporting directly and recommends compensation for them.

20. Direct, monitor, and appraise the performance of immediate reporters.

21. Identify training needs, initiates development of subordinates, recommend effective personnel action.

22. Maintain appropriate communication within area of responsibility.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor of Engineering or Graduate in any discipline and Masters in Business Administration from reputed institute.

2. Should have 16 plus years of experience in Operations with a proven track record. Should have worked with ITES / IT companies in previous assignments.

3. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along with diverse personalities: Tactfully & with Maturity

4. Enhance job-related knowledge and skills to improve performance and should possess the ability to adjust to any kind of Paradigm Shifts/Change

5. Ability to establish credibility and be decisive- And to be able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities.

6. Should be extremely articulate & eloquent, especially when dealing with the US Counterparts. Good Communication Skills both written & verbal is a must

7. Ability to thrive in a highly pressurized environment & motivate Peers & Team members to do the same.
