Vice President - Construction Management (Highrise project )

- Own the overall responsibility of successful program management, project management & end to end execution of different high rise projects in the scheduled time frame, budgeted cost and fulfill the business objectives.

- Manage programs and managers within multiple projects to ensure successful completion and minimum deviation from the baseline project plan in terms of scope, schedule, cost and quality.

- Provide decisive leadership in all five stages of the life cycle of multiple projects like; project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring/controlling and project closing/handing over.

- To guide & facilitate all necessary support to the Project managers in terms of technical solutions, staff support, materials, internal decisions, resolving contractor's issues and all other resources on a real time basis.

- Facilitate the various projects scope, goals and deliverables. Review/approve conceptual, preliminary and detailed engineering design developed full scale, detailed execution project plans with milestones, activities, resource requirements and identify the critical path for implementation.

- Track projects deliverables using appropriate tools, provide direction & support to different project team. Critically monitor & control the entire project execution and ensure all timeliness, project budget, project resource allocation, HSE and quality parameters compliance. Ensure corrective action preparation of recovery plan.

- Liaison, co-ordination with all external agencies like statutory authorities, architects, consultants, suppliers, contractors and service providers to ensure successful execution of different projects.

- Jointly work together and interact with all concerned in-house departments and refine/modify the systems & processes for achieving best project implementation efficiencies/ productivity, implement/follow the systems and contribute to upgrade the systems and ensure timely execution as per overall strategy.

- To keep abreast about availability of latest construction technology for execution of projects at optimum time frame and inculcate innovative, futuristic designs and amenities. Co-ordination between various teams like civil, MEP, interiors, utilities & services, (BMS) building management system and land development, etc. and institutionalizing standardization across other projects.

- Be important part of the tendering process from floating of tenders till award of the contracts, including various techno-commercial negotiations. Co-ordinate with main contractors, monitoring their performance in view of project schedule. Settle all the techno-commercial disputes and clarifications during execution of project.

- Monitor & control value-engineering process, adopting best possible strategies & construction methodologies in coordination with concerned departments & necessary expertise/decisions for successful completion of projects.

- Ensuring optimum utilization of resources- labour, materials and equipment, and ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms.

- Identify potential risks for the function in face of the company pursuing a rapid growth strategy and develop a risk mitigation strategy, to improve company image bearing in the market.

- Responsible for people management activities for direct reports - determining accountabilities; communicating, enforcing policies & procedures, recruitment, training & appraisal of the employees, responsible to counsel, retain the top/critical talent and keep the attrition rate low

- To manage and motivate staff at all levels to ensure that there is high morale and commitment at the site and productivity levels are maintained

- Timely deliver presentations to top management. Submit the project performance MIS pertaining as per desired format. Keep stakeholders updated about all projects progress in requisite communication system.
