VP - Card Systems - IT - Bank

My Client is Looking for the following position, based at Mumbai

Position: VP Card Systems IT

Position Reporting To - Director/SVP

Location: Mumbai

Objective:

- Business requirements and Analysis, Designing and Solutioning & Project Management for Cards systems for bank and manage effective implementation and functioning of the same.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible to devise and implement end to end Card solutions for the bank.

- Lead and manage end-to-end Card delivery services for Credit and Debit cards including Project management, business analysis, implementations, customizations, solutioning, UAT testing.

- In-Depth knowledge into Card implementations for IT systems like CTL / T-Sys & VisionPlus.

- Establish and mange strong internal relationships with key stakeholders and should have strong experience in defining and gathering business requirements from them and translating them into functional specifications.

- Involved into Project management by developing project plans, outlining project scope, activities, schedules, deadlines and cost/time estimates for timely delivery.

- A functional expert in the implementation of Card systems as per the SDLC model which includes Planning, Analysis, Design for Debit/Credit/Prepaid Cards.

- Responsible for engaging IT vendors (Tsys) for procurement and implementation of the Card Systems.

- Create a monitoring plan for continuous development and upgradation.

- Experience and sound working knowledge in CMS, EFT Financial Services Network, Financial SWITCHING network, card management system.

- Exposure to payment processing frameworks / payment hub.

- Knowledge in Mobile Wallets, RFID, NFC.

Candidate Profile:

Preferred Qualifications : MBA/B.E./ B.Tech/CFA

Preferred Experience : 10 -15 years

- Total experience of 10+ years in Banking. Minimum experience of 5 years in implementation of Card Services (Debit/Credit)& delivery of its applications.

- Preferred qualifications MBA or BE/B Tech

- Should have a good Retail banking and Corporate banking functional knowledge

- Should have in-depth knowledge on Card management system and its features. Should have a good understanding of Key systems for cards like VisionPlus and CTL/T-Sys.

- Expertise in design, solutioning, business analysis, customization and parameterization in Card systems.

- Good understanding of payment systems, Card authorization, cards migrations and banking systems.

- Should have excellent communication, presentation and client interfacing skills.

- Should be able to think logically and present ideas from a business perspective.

- Motivated, disciplined and able to work in team environment.

- Ability to deal with and communicate with all levels.

Technical Knowledge in:

- C, C_++, Pro-C, Java, Microsoft,

- RDBMS Database - Data Modeling/DS design/Fine-tuning/SQL & PL/SQL Programming,

- OS(Windows / Unix / Linux / Sun Solaris),

- Web Security Standards,

- Web & App servers (WebSphere, JBoss, Weblogic, Tomcat),

- Business process tools and rule Engine,

- Reporting tools (Crystal / Jasper),

- Overview and understanding of Enterprise Architecture,

- Content Management.

- Knowledge in Application / product Implementation, deployment, Version maintenance, Release Management & Change Management, Testing (Application, Performance, Penetration, Smoke, Sanity, Regression),
