VP/AVP - Sales - Web Startup - Hospitality

Our client is a group of passionate and determined group of professionals who wish to create an excellent buying experience for you by leveraging the best of breed technology. Our client is a one stop solution for the travel plans of the customers. Our client is not a travel agent but it is the ‘marketplace’ where one can search trips from leading travel agents. With this, our client save the customer from doing all the research and comparing plans from multiple travel agents. Our client is a one stop solution for the travel plans of the customers. Our client is recently funded by a venture capital firm for Rs 12 million.

Our client is urgently looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and dedicated resource for the position of VP/AVP - Sales position

Roles and Responsibility:

- directly responsible for the company’s revenue

- develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals

- manage the sales teams, operations and resources to deliver profitable growth

- define and oversee incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets

- define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives

- exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction

- hire and develop sales staff

- provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

- manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities

- Coordination with travel specialists/agents

- Responsible for following end to end process between travel specialists/agents and travelers.
