VP/AD - Credit - Real Estate - NBFC

The Corporate lending division is focused on lending to real estate developers and projects pertaining to construction of residential units in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and NCR region. The incumbent will be responsible to lead the Credit team for all Real Estate transactions. He / She will work closely with the origination team to take all viable deals to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate proposals of debt and structured finance for real estate developers across India.

- Financial analysis of clients & markets, identification and optimization of risk identified. Structuring deals & presenting to senior management committee for approval.

- Responsible for monitoring and evaluating existing portfolio to avoid NPAs

- Establish a system for sourcing of transactions that fit into the credit lending philosophy of the company.

- Post sanction, ensuring compliance of sanction terms

- Developing and enhancing corporate relationships with developers

- Keeping abreast of all regulatory and economic developments taking place in the real estate sector and establish a system to record the same and spread knowledge/information within the organization in a systematic manner

Requirements:

- MBA (Finance) or CA with atleast 8-15 years of relevant exp

- Must have very good understanding of real estate sector and also the financial markets, financial products

- Strong credit & structuring experience of large corporate deals

- Ability to suggest alternative solutions for ring-fencing a given transaction and thereby act as enabler while safeguarding the interest of the company

- Ability to lead/work in a team environment
